Important Notes
- Entrance to the hall will close before each session and reopen only during breaks. If you arrive late, our volunteers will guide you inside during the next break to avoid disrupting filming.
- Seating is open — but we kindly ask you to sit closer together and closer to the front rows, so speakers can feel your energy and support.
- Headsets for simultaneous translation will be available in exchange for a valid ID.
- Filming & photography: Since multi-camera recording will be taking place, please refrain from using personal photo or video devices.
- It distracts the speakers — they need your full attention.
- It disrupts professional filming.
- It is prohibited by TEDx rules.
All talks will be available online, and professional photos will be uploaded to our
Facebook page right after the event.
By attending, you agree that images of you may appear online in accordance with the
Creative Commons license.
During the Breaks- Food & Drinks: Catering will be provided. In your participant bag, you’ll also find an eco-bottle — water dispensers will be available on site.
- “Charging Station” by Eurasian Machinery: recharge your phone, relax on beanbags, and enjoy fresh apples.
- “Fresh Stage” & Basketball Court:
Last year, Efes Art Space brought us the exhibition “Masha’s Letters” and a theatrical performance. This year, they bring us music — enjoy the live sound of Astana-based band qoñyr äwen. Nearby, an outdoor basketball court will be open if you want to stretch between sessions.
- Interactive Installation AqJaima by Photographer Ospan Ali:
- A reflection on choice and its impact on heritage, with the artist’s own commentary.
- Inu Foundation:
Learn how to help homeless animals and contribute if you wish.
Inspired by the Kazakh tradition of tying zhyrtys (fabric strips symbolizing hopes and blessings), you’ll be able to tie your ribbon and make a wish.
